Sharon Swierczynski, MD

Sharon L. Swierczynski was born and raised in Lebanon county, Pennsylvania and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from Juniata College in 1991. She earned her Doctor of Philosophy degree in biochemistry from Duke University in 1996, and her Medical Doctor degree from Johns Hopkins University in 2000. She completed a residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Johns Hopkins Hospital in 2004, followed by fellowships in Hematopathology and Surgical Pathology at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Dr. Swierczynski is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology as well as Hematopathology. She joined the medical staff at Ephrata Community Hospital in 2023.
