Maria Fasano, MD

Maria Fasano, MD was born in Lock Haven, PA and grew up in Mifflinburg, PA. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from Bucknell University, Lewisburg, PA in 1989, followed by a Medical Degree from Hahnemann University School of Medicine, Philadelphia, PA in 1993. She completed her residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology from New York University Medical Center, NY, NY in 1997, as well as fellowships in Surgical Pathology at New York University Medical Center, NY, NY in 1998 and Cytopathology at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY in 1999. After finishing her training, Dr. Fasano joined Evangelical Community Hospital in 1999. She became the Medical Director of the Laboratory in 2021. Dr. Fasano is board certified in Anatomic Pathology and Cytopathology.
