John A. Wright, MD

John A. Wright, M.D., was born and raised in Wilmington, DE. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in 1993 from Saint Joseph’s University. He received a Medical Degree in 1997 from Creighton University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology in 2002 at University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, having served as a Chief Resident. While at UNC he also completed fellowships in both Surgical Pathology in 2003 and Cytopathology in 2004.

After finishing his training, Dr. Wright joined York Laboratory Associates in 2004, where he serves as a pathologist and as the Medical Director of Cytopathology. Dr. Wright is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and has subspecialty board certification in Cytopathology.
