Outreach Services Program

The goal of the Outreach Services Program is to provide a personal communication link between the referring providers and their staff with WellSpan Lab Services. These services are available to offer information and assistance with WellSpan Lab Services testing, as well as to address questions, concerns and issues with any service of WellSpan Health.

The outreach services staff can provide:

  • Information on new and existing laboratory services
  • Clarification of testing/specimen collection guidelines
  • Scheduling of specialists to visit physician offices to discuss testing issues
  • Assistance with billing, referral and access issues
  • Assistance with getting the office access to clinical information

Information shared with the outreach services staff is important to WellSpan Lab Services administration and is used to identify the needs of our referring providers in planning and evaluating services. This input also helps to prioritize system and service improvements that will make working with WellSpan Lab Services as productive as possible for referring providers and as beneficial as possible for their patients.
